Last night Lillabel, Dana and I drove up to the game against Maryland. Our seats were on the floor directly behind our bench which made me quite nervous that Lillie was going to try to get off of our laps and run up and poke Jon or one of the players. I thought it was going to be quite the battle of wills keeping her in my lap, however she was quite well-behaved and LOVED being so close to the action (we sit about 4 or 5 rows back at the home games so we are normally close, but not this close). It was an amazing game and we won - AGAIN! That's nine in a row now and the first time in school history that we have beaten two ACC teams in one season! So exciting! GO TRIBE! Here are a couple of pictures from the game.

Lillian and her best friend Kyla - she is such a doll and so sweet to let Lillie chase her around after every game. Lillie absolutely adores her!

Daddy!!!!!! What a handsome coach! We are so proud of him and everyone else!

It's The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!!

We had our first Christmas on our own this year. I thought it was going to be weird, but it wasn't. It was absolutely wonderful! It was so much fun watching Lillabel open all of her gifts and run around in excitement. We are so blessed to have such a precious daughter. It was so much fun teaching her about Jesus' birthday and the reason we celebrate Christmas. Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I hope that you all had a most wonderful Christmas as well!

The much anticipated boots from Mia Joie! (They are the cutest things ever!)

Some pictures from our walks in Colonial Williamsburg on Christmas Eve and again Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas!

Here is the photo we ended up going with for the front of our Christmas card this year. It was quite an adventure. We have been soooooo busy that I hadn't had time to take some pictures of Miss Lillabel for our Christmas card until the end of the first week in December! We took Lillie down to Colonial Williamsburg in hopes of finding a great spot to take pictures. It was the day of the Grand Illumination down in CW and although we knew it was going to be busy we were completely unprepared for the thousands and thousands of people that were there! Needless to say, Jon was MORTIFIED that we were carrying around a sled with garland trying to find the perfect spot to take a picture. Instead we just plopped her on one of the first doorsteps we came to and snapped away. Although she was in a wonderful mood, waving and smiling at the throngs of people that were smiling at her and taking their own pictures of her, I somehow did not manage to get a single good shot! Ahhh! I had hoped to get a family shot too - that definitely did not happen. Haha! Oh well, maybe next year.

PS - That is chipped paint on an old doorstep in Colonial Williamsburg behind Lillabel not snow! I think a few people were worried when they saw our card about why she wasn't wearing a coat out in the snow! Haha!

SEVEN IN A ROW!!!!!

We won today 94 to 48! That's seven wins in a row now! How exciting. We play Radford on Tuesday and then Maryland next Wednesday. http://www.tribeathletics.com/story.php/9681/
Here is Lillie in her William and Mary tutu about ready to head out to the game. It was a COLD day - we got snow last night, some rain this morning and more snow this afternoon! Poor Lillabel is quite sick with an awful cold but despite that has been in wonderful spirits.
