Williamsburg at Dusk

Just popping in with a few photos. My favorite time to go down to Colonial Williamsburg with the girls is at dusk. I love watching them flit about and seeing all the lanterns glow. Oh how I love this time of year! (I took these photos before we left for New Hampshire but am a bit behind on posting.)

 

We are on our way back to Williamsburg today and once I get settled in I have about 1200 photos to go through so I should have lots of things to share in the next couple of weeks! We had yucky cold, overcast weather pretty much our whole week in New Hampshire and although we worked on lots of projects I didn't take any photos until Saturday. Like I mentioned though, I did take about 1200 in about 24 hours. Haha! Unfortunately, seeing how I didn't take any until right before we left I haven't had time to go through them. Here's one shot though from Lola's party. This was a little vignette off to the side and the little cupcake on the tree swing was my favorite part of the party! =)

 

I was inspired by Tradewind Tiara's tree swing that I saw on Pinterest. I can't wait to show you all more pictures as soon as I get settled in.

Pink Reagan Pillow

We have been busy working on quite a few different new products from new Ruler Growth Charts, oversized "As for me and my house..." signs with hooks, and new screenprinted burlap and cotton pillows. Unfortunately because we are switching on how we do things so we can start producing much larger quantites we have run into a few snags as we change how things are printed. We are in the process, though of getting it figured out so hopefully in the coming weeks we will have quite a few new things to be adding to our shop. It is just taking a little longer than we anticipated.

An Evening in Colonial Williamsburg

We have been busy working away up here in NH. We've been working on several new products as well as making over some furniture and today I need to actually get to work making some projects for Lola's birthday party this weekend. I had all these grand ideas but so far have just made a few tissue paper flowers - ahhhh! Anyway, I haven't taken a single photo since I have gotten to NH (with my real camera) because the weather has been so crummy. Hopefully today will be better!

Two weekends ago while my cousin, Lauren was in town, she helped me take the girls down to Colonial Williamsburg so I could attempt to take some "one year" shots of Lola. Well, Lola wasn't super cooperative so I didn't really get what I had in my mind - or anything close to it =(, but here are some of the shots, anyway. Hopefully I can try again soon and get something closer to what I have in my head. =)

A Painted Side Table

Last week I decided to paint this little side table. Ever since I painted the coffee table this one has been driving me crazy. I normally don't like "matchy matchy" but I didn't want to spend any money so I just used the leftover Revere Pewter (by Benjamin Moore) from the coffee table. You can see it here before and how it stood out once I had stripped and painted the coffee table:
