Our Christmas Mantel

This year I went really really simple on our mantel. I had planned on doing an advent calendar hanging where the stockings were but didn't get it done in time, I may still make one later this week and we will just have to play catch-up, or I may wait until next year...

Here is the mantel in context with the rest of the room.

Also, I forgot to mention earlier this month that you can click here for our free December download:
And we also have several Christmas downloads available including Isaiah 9:6 and Silent Night and The First Noel.

I'll be back tomorrow! Have a wonderful Thursday!

  1. What kind of greenry is on your mantel? I love the look of it. Is it real or fake? Happy Holidays:)

    1. The wreath is real boxwood. The garland is fake. I bought it four years ago at a store called Savvy in Williamsburg and have been looking for more ever since with no luck. =(

  9. Everything you do is always so beautiful and classy.

Are the paperwhites real, or silk? If they are silk, where did you get them?

    1. Thank you so much, Mary. They are not real. I got them at a store called Savvy in Williamsburg a few years ago. I love them because as long as you aren't right up close to them they look quite real!

    2. Thank you so much for answering! We were in Colonial Williamsburg the week before Thanksgiving (you must love living so close!) but are back in Colorado, now. I'll see if I can find some here. They add such a special look in the places that you put them. I love real ones, but they don't last terribly long. You are so incredibly talented and your girls are gorgeous. Actually, your whole family is gorgeous and it sounds like you have so much fun together!

    1. Thank you so much! I wish I could, but I have no idea. I've had them for years. I would say either Target, Hobby Lobby or maybe KMart?
