Just popping in to say I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I have been working on our
2012 photo album and was editing some photos from earlier this month. I printed this one out and when my mom saw it she noted Lola had the same expression as a photo I'd taken of her when she was just a couple of months old. Sure enough, when I found it it was almost the exact same photo - just a year and a half later! It's funny to see how similar she looks in some ways and different in others. Her features are pretty much the same but her hair and eyes have lightened. And I think I can see a little more mischief in her eyes in the second photo... =)
I hope you all have a blessed weekend!
My God, you have such lovely children, very beautiful, two princesses :) love your blog, thank you for the inspiration, and Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeletePrecious & perfect!
ReplyDeleteShe will be a GREAT BEAUTY in her adulthood, she's adorable now of course, but as an adult she will be beyond stunning.

Take my breath away darling!!! Just looking at that sweet face you know that the God who crated her is glorious!!! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThat little "smirk" is precious!
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAnd does your mother or your husband's mother have an old photo of that smirk on either of YOU?
ReplyDeleteLola is such a beautiful child. Those eyes of hers are captivating, have been since birth. Both your girls are going to break boys' hearts! (That is if Daddy even lets them out of the house!)
It isn't easy, I raised two beautiful daughters and it wasn't easy keeping the bees away. But they stayed innocent but not clueless, and I think that's because I talked to them often about a lot - so they knew what to watch for and what decisions in whatever weird scenario were the better choices. One big th ing that helped was that OURS was the house the kids came to - so I knew who they were spending time with, and where they wer pretty much most every time. That helped. (Though they all ate me out of house and home and it was difficult to keep the house pristine back then.) I wish I had pictures of the piles of shoes at the door now to prove how many were there on a daily basis!
Anyway, sorry so long, just wanted to share and say again your girls are true gems, just like their pretty pretty Momma!
Wow, that is amazing! She definitely has her own look, different from Lillie... I'm trying to put my finger on which of her features make me think that?
ReplyDeleteWow - Love that! Great catch by your mom!
