It Is Well With My Soul Chalkboard

I showed a little sneak peek of this chalkboard on Facebook a couple of weeks ago and we finally have it available in our shop! Above you can see the 24 by 36 download (you can find it in our shop here) that I've printed off and framed. This has always been one of my favorite hymns but in the last year or so has come to have so much meaning for me so I really enjoyed working on this one. I was happy with how the top part of it turned out never got the "It is well" part to look the way I had it in my head. Oh well...

We also have this available as an 11 by 14 print:

and an 8 by 10 print:

I hope you all have a blessed Thursday!

  5. Wonderful addition!!

Would love to you do a "How Great Thou Art," and a "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord."

A "In vino veritas" would be nifty too in a wine cellar or bar area!

Just a few new ideas/possibilities for you to make in the future!!

  6. Although I find nothing at all to find fault with your gorgeous writing, I do know that feeling of not being able to reproduce that 'vision of perfection' I have in my head. I have a brain injury. It happens often. Like this week. And I've not been a good example of Christ to my family and friends as I struggle. I'm crying and I don't feel good as I try to make it all work.
But did God allow us--you and me--to not have our perfect image come to fruition to teach us this... That we, in our own projects, will actually focus more on the words than our own perfectness...like if all I produce is perfect I don't really have to focus on my message. A few weeks ago, it was a project of Rejoice in The Lord always...but my vision was not perfectly being produced in my project and I truthfully was not rejoicing in The Lord always. Now, because it is not just so, I actually pay more attention to its message.
Once you wrote your comment, I quickly looked at what you thought was not like your vision and it read IT IS WELL I got it. That is what Jesus wants me and maybe you to focus upon. It is well not goofed up not done wrong but well with our souls because Jesus has taught us this. Do you see? What we see as a not perfection recreation of vision was the Holy Spirit taking over to remind you remind me that when those sea billows roll Jesus holds us and He who is perfect says It Is Well now...thank you so much for your little words of slight displeasure in your art. For it is then when God often uses us the greatest. It really spoke more to me because of it...blessings, Gwen

    1. I actually did a chalkboard last year that just said "It is well with my soul." For this one I chose to include more because it fit best with the longer length of these frames. I freehand all of my chalk art and they are far from prefect. =)

  10. Love it, ordered it, may becoming addicted to these! Maybe you should start a mail order club where you get a new chalkboard print once a month!
