Peek of our Gray Guest Bedroom and Ballard Design

Back at the end of last year Ballard Designs contacted us about sending us some of their new bedding to design a room around and being featured on their blog. I cannot tell you how thrilled and honored I was. I am so in love with the bedding that I just placed an order for my bedding for our master bedroom. Head on over to the Ballard Designs blog, How to Decorate, and see more photos of our guest bedroom. And then I will do a full post either tomorrow or Friday with a full source list for all of the items in the room and tons of photos.

Have a lovely evening!

  3. Just got my newest BD catalogue today in the mail - and my husband actually SMILED and said "hey, I have your favorite catalogue in my hands!" He's like that. He didn't throw it away when I wasn't looking. ♥

Love that bedding!! Gorgeous room, can't wait to see more.

    1. Thank you, Saralee! The link is right in the post. Just click on the words "How To Decorate" I would add it here too but I'm on my phone and can't get it to paste right for some reason.

  11. Beautiful room, Jennifer! I especially love the toile duvet cover... but it wasn't in my budget to get it from BD. Instead, I have a very similar looking one from IKEA, called Alvine Kvist that cost 39.99 for the set.

  12. This is a beautiful room, I really love it! Where did you get the bed? Does it seem to be sturdy? I am looking for a very similar upholstered bed. Thanks for your help!

  15. What a beautiful room. I love EVERYTHNG about your home.
I am interested though to know if you painted the window frames on the inside only? We have sliding sash windows and am worried that paint would make them 'stick'

    1. Thank you! The exterior of the windows was already painted white, so all we needed to do was paint the inside fortunately.
