Sorry! I spent all night last night editing all the photos for the full playroom post and was planning on having it ready for this morning. I ended up getting 47 photos edited though and needless to say that is WAY too many for one post so I am still weeding through them and narrowing them down and then finishing up some of the writing. Anyway, I am working on it and as soon as it's finished up I will post it. In the meantime here are a few shots:
Have a beautiful Wednesday!
Looks amazing! Especially love that little desk area. So cute!
ReplyDeleteI just came upon your blog (I think it was thru another blog that I originally found on Pinterest) and I have to comment...and tell a bit of history. Ever since I was little, whenever I was watching a show or reading a magazine that had some sort of project/craft in it ... I had to do/make it RIGHT THEN...this drove my mother nuts. I am no different now...which doesn't really drive my husband nuts, but he finds it funny.
ReplyDeleteI haven't even gotten thru your blog yet (inching thru it) and I have already redecorated my house....painted a dresser (IT LOOKS FABULOUS NOW! THANK YOU THANK YOU!) ... and made a chalkboard sign. Will be taking my upper cabinets down too when my mother in law arrives for a visit in a few weeks as I have coaxed her into helping me and watching my 4 year old who, as you know, can be a bit of a distraction with "Mom come play!"...my paint dried up during some doll house play while I painted my dresser :( oh well...playing is actually much more fun :) Er kinda as I sure like to paint! Anyways...I loveeeeee your playroom and surely will be rethinking mine :) Thanks for all the ideas and interesting posts!
Oh...and I always wanted to paint our dresser (it is really a junky one and have been trying to replace it), but my husband said "that won't look good painted". He apologized when he saw it HA!

The dresser makeover sounds great, Michelle!!! Projects can definitely get interesting with little helpers around haha :) Good luck with the cabinets!
DeleteForgot to mention in my first comment that the whole dresser project only cost me $2.50...not that I am cheap :) Had the primer that my husband used on a project of his, bought a miss tint at Lowes for the $2.50 and had black spray paint for the drawer pulls that our neighbors who were moving gave us. I told my husband that I doubt I will ever give up that dresser now and not too long ago I was ready to throw it out.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the burlap and polka dots combo! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteReally, I just want you to adopt me and decorate my room. I would be a great older sister to your darling girls.
ReplyDeleteOh, Jenni, I can just imagine Lillie and Lola in that beautiful room! What an amazing job you've done--you've created the kind of playroom that kids dream of. Looking forward to seeing all the pics!
