Easy and Fun Bedding for Lola's Room

A couple of months ago we shared some photos of a little girl's room we worked on for some sweet little friend's of ours where we used Beddy's bedding on the beds. Well, Lola absolutely LOVED the idea of being able to zipper up her bed like a sleeping bag and was completely fascinated by it. Right around that time we were working on that room was also when we did the room swap here at our house and we added a daybed to Lola's room. The girls have been making their own beds every morning for a couple of years now, however, when we switched rooms and Lola went to a daybed and Lillie to a full sized bed they started having a harder time making them each morning. If you've ever tried to make a daybed you know it actually is kind of a pain in the neck. Ha! Seriously, though, making a daybed every morning is surprisingly rather frustrating. So I thought we would give the Beddy's bedding a try in her room and see if it helped. She picked out the pink color (it's called Vintage Blush II) and was quite excited when it arrived.

I have to admit, although I figured it was definitely going to help, I was quite surprised at what a HUGE difference it makes! She can literally make her bed now in less than a minute. She just zips it up and puts the pillows on the bed in her little lined up order she has and that's it! And I love that it looks so neat and tidy. She not only loves how easy it is, but she loves that it feels kind of like she is sleeping in a special sleeping bag. We've already washed it a couple of times and I love that when I go to put it back on the bed it's basically just like putting one fitted sheet on the bed and that's it - it's done. It is an investment but keep in mind it has everything you need and makes such a huge difference, especially for daybeds or bunkbeds! And speaking for my two girls, they absolutely love theirs!

Here it is all zippered up.

The zipper is nice and easy for a child to find and use.

I love how the pink one opens up to the cute little polka dots.

It also comes with a ruffled sham and a regular pillow case that matches the inside sheet:

Lola zips it up the whole way each morning but I also think it looks cute if you fold the to part over a little bit.

I still need to add something under the hoop, but I finally painted something on this blank canvas that was under the deer.

We found a few different bunny pictures she liked and kind of merged them into one. Ha!

And I painted this deer based off of an adorable deer painting we saw on Joss and Main that she loved but we wanted the deer to be pink. The Joss and Main one was much cuter but it was fun having this be pink to match her room.

We got this rhino head at Target. I think they are sold out now but they have plenty of other adorable ones. We got the Unicorn one for Lillie's room.

And that's it for Lola's room! We also got the bedding for Lillie's room and I will share those pictures tomorrow!
