Our Bedroom

It was a little nerve-wracking going this dark on the walls, but I LOVE it and am so glad we decided to go with this color. I think Jon had a panic attack, though, when we first started rolling it on! =)

  3. The paint color is Kendall Charcoal by Benjamin Moore. Our bedding is a mix of things that we had - some is Simply Shabby Chic from Target, the matlesse coverlet was from JCPenney, the front pillow was from Kohl's and the bolster I made. Not sure about the branch light things? On one nightstand we just have a basic lamp (We've had it for years - I think I got it at TJMaxx for like 6 bucks) and on the other nightstand is a vase full of cherry blossom branches.

  4. Hi! I just love your bedroom. I want to do mine in the same concept but tiffany blue, black & white. Where the headboard and curtains are white, and accessories, frames, chandeliers & mirrors are in black. I have been looking for a tufted headboard like that FOREVER! I saw one in Ethan Allen that I could get in white leather but the shape wasn't quite what I wanted. Do you remember where you got yours? Thanks in advance! - Susan (usansay18@gmail.com)

  6. Thanks so much Susan. I can't remember exactly where I got mine but my sister got the exact same one about a year or so ago from Hayneedle.com.

    Your room sounds beautiful!

  7. Oh thank you so much!! I found it on there and the price is MUCH more appealing compared to the one in Ethan Allen at $800!

  8. Yet again, I just adore your style. My 17 year old wants a headboard like this. Is your headboard velvet? We are trying this look with "beach glass" walls (Martha Stewart color), silk gray drapes with black curtain rod, white furniture and the mirrored silver jewelry chest from Pier 1. I hope it all pulls together. :)
