Merry Christmas!

Here is the photo we ended up going with for the front of our Christmas card this year. It was quite an adventure. We have been soooooo busy that I hadn't had time to take some pictures of Miss Lillabel for our Christmas card until the end of the first week in December! We took Lillie down to Colonial Williamsburg in hopes of finding a great spot to take pictures. It was the day of the Grand Illumination down in CW and although we knew it was going to be busy we were completely unprepared for the thousands and thousands of people that were there! Needless to say, Jon was MORTIFIED that we were carrying around a sled with garland trying to find the perfect spot to take a picture. Instead we just plopped her on one of the first doorsteps we came to and snapped away. Although she was in a wonderful mood, waving and smiling at the throngs of people that were smiling at her and taking their own pictures of her, I somehow did not manage to get a single good shot! Ahhh! I had hoped to get a family shot too - that definitely did not happen. Haha! Oh well, maybe next year.

PS - That is chipped paint on an old doorstep in Colonial Williamsburg behind Lillabel not snow! I think a few people were worried when they saw our card about why she wasn't wearing a coat out in the snow! Haha!
