Tan in the Guest Bedroom/Office and As For Me and My House Chalkboard Print

Whew! The last few weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind and I have barely opened my computer between painting like crazy and lots of traveling. I did take quite a few photos though before we left last week so now that I finally took the time to sit down on my computer last night I was able to go through and start editing several posts worth of them.

Today I thought I would show you how the guest bedroom/office is back to a more neutral more year-round look after adding some bright pink in there earlier this year in honor of Valentine's Day.  It's probably a little confusing to call this the office at this point seeing how I haven't gotten a desk yet and started setting up the "office" part of the room but I figured I would start referring to it as that to help differentiate it from the gray guest bedroom now that that room has been updated. I am hoping to get started on the office part of this room in the next month or so the next time I share photos of this room it should actually be a combination office and guest room. Or at least that's the plan anyway!

I moved the pink pillows into Lillie and Lola's room for now but think they will eventually end up in the playroom once we finish painting in there. I am hoping to get the walls painted next week and then start playing around in there decorating and organizing. I added a few neutral accents that I already owned and that was about it for changes in here. There is a full source list at the bottom of this post.

I also tried it without the long pillow in front.

As usual, I had my little ballerina flitting through the room as I was trying to photograph it. =)

I also wanted to let you know we have another new chalkboard print in stock:

    1. Thank you so much! We haven't painted any of our ceilings though, so I don't have the paint color the previous owners may have used--sorry!
