Some Finishing Touches to Our Powder Room and Hand Carved Measuring Spoons

We finally added the finishing touches to our powder room. We added this bird print in a circular metal frame that we found at Savvy above the toilet and another piece of art that we've had for years to the wall opposite the sink but that wall is basically impossible to photograph so I gave up. It's nice finally having something hung on the walls in here. Below is a photo from last year's post and taken at another angle. You can see more of those photos here

I also wanted to share some images of some beautiful hand carved figured walnut measuring spoons that Polder's Old World Market sent us. Each one is a piece of art! They arrived Friday and yesterday we used them to make pancakes and chocolate chip cookies.

And here is a source list for our powder room.

Sources:

Trim Color - Simply White in Semi-gloss Finish
Wallpaper - Graphic Trellis Wallpaper (can be found here)
Beadboard Wallpaper - Allen and Roth from Lowe's
Vanity Color - Shenandoah Taupe (think it was in a matte finish because that was what I had on hand, if I were purchasing it new would have gone with semi-gloss for this)
Hardware for Vanity - Home Depot
Vanity top and sink - Evercor in Aspen from Lowe's
Faucet - American Standard from Lowe's
Mirror - HomeGoods
Bird Print - Savvy Home and Garden in Williamsburg
Soap and Lotion - HomeGoods
Sconces - they were the original ones here just spray painted with oil rubbed bronze
Pitcher with Flowers - Pottery Barn
Jar with Cotton Balls - Juliska

I hope you all are having a wonderful week!

  3. Love the beautiful transformation ... I had to laugh a bit as the old wallpaper that was there is the very same one that I had in a previous home 20 years ago!...The measuring spoons look amazing ... love Polder's.
