Our Master Bedroom with some Christmas Touches

We added some cozy touches to our master bedroom for the winter and a little bit of sparkle for Christmas. The first thing we did was add this gorgeous French Market Quilt in the color Limestone from Soft Surroundings. It is even more beautiful in real life. We also added two of the Cable Knit Euro Shams in white. We got two of them last year and they are my all time favorite pillows! We used the ones we got last year down on our sofa and love now having another set to have on our bed. They are so cozy and I love the buttons (which I think are technically the backside but I love how they look so much I always use them as the front). I love how these touches add a cozy touch to last through the winter.

And then for the Christmas holidays we added a few little sparkly touches like the gold ornaments.

We found all the wrapping paper and ribbon at HomeGoods.

The beautiful angel canvas is from the talented Deann

The details on the quilt are so beautiful! And I love the other side of it as well. In fact, I think I may switch it to that side at some point.

The ornaments are all from HomeGoods and as well as the tree and the gold tray. The boxes are from the Sugar Paper line at Target and the beautiful trophy urn is from The Arrow's Nest.

Love this trophy urn from The Arrowed Nest and the jewelry box from HomeGoods.

  5. This is simply beautiful. Simple. The quilt is so pretty. In your pictures it looks blue. I have been considering new bedding and I am looking for blue colors. Is the quilt blue or gray, if you don't mind sharing? Since I have been a fan of Soft Surroundings for 20 years it is nice to see their items in a real home.

  7. Your room is beautiful, a restful and serene place to retire to in the evening. We have just ordered new furniture for our master bedroom and am thinking something like your beautiful quilt would work. I look forward to sharing my own room come next Christmas! Merry, merry!!

  8. Hello! I love your bedroom and the quilt! I am looking at getting one myself. However, I noticed in the reviews it says it shrinks horribly upon washing. I am wondering if you have found this to be true because I will definitely be washing it. Thanks so much!

    1. Thank you! Jenni hasn't had any issues with that, but it's only been washed once or twice since it is still pretty new.
