Yay! It finally felt like autumn today!
After last week where it was in the 90's and then rain most of this week, we finally had a beautiful day in the low 70's today. To celebrate, Lillie and I made an apple pie and did some decorating out on our back screened porch. I can't wait to head to the Farmer's Market tomorrow and get some real pumpkins! And on Sunday I think we are going to bring Lillie apple picking. I am so excited for it to finally be fall!
I actually liked how it looked out on our porch a bit better last fall with the silhouettes and mums but my silhouettes kept falling down and mums don't last long here so I am trying to hold off a bit before I get some this fall.
I hope you all have had a wonderful Friday!
~*~*Beautiful Fall post!~*~*And Im sure your pie is delicious too ;)~*Hugs, Rachel~*

ReplyDeleteJennifer, I live in Virginia as well but a few hours from you. I have recently discovered your blog and love your style. Im curious, do you mind sharing where you get most of your fall artificial flowers and pumpkins from?
ReplyDeleteI have had alot of the stuff that's on the porch for several years so my memory is a little shaky. Some of it is from Pier 1 and Hobby Lobby and the pumpkins/gourds are from a store called Savvy in Williamsburg.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I went out today and found a good start. There is a Hobby Lobby fairly close. Thanks for taking the time to answer. I dont have a blog page but I will post some pics on my facebook. Rene' Branson
