Farmhouse Holiday Series - Our Christmas Bedroom

We are so excited to be joining some of our favorite bloggers for part two of the Farmhouse Holiday Decor Series! Back in September we shared four weeks worth of fall decorating and now we are ready to dive into five weeks of Christmas decor! And yes, we know it is only November 1st but as bloggers we generally share things about a month ahead of schedule even though it may seem a little strange - ha!

The first room we are sharing as part of this holiday series in our master bedroom and we are thrilled to be partnering with one of our absolute favorite sponsors, Birch Lane for this post.

Over on the other side of our room we used some blues and browns but here on this wall we stuck mostly with creams and golds. One of my favorite touches over here is the Alger Candle Holder (which I think may now be sold out) and these Vienna Wreath Pillows. We made several pom pom wreaths a few years ago and they are still going strong. I think I may make a few more this year. They are so much fun!

We stuck with some more simple cream and gold touches with the flowers and ornaments to give it a soft yet elegant look.

Over on our bathroom door we hung this Magnolia Wreath! It looks so real! I have another one we are using in our family room. They are beautiful and you have to touch them to discover they are faux.

Here's a little peak into our master bathroom. We will have more pictures of that in a future post.

We also added this warm and cozy Sherpa Knit Throw. I love the cable knit on one side and the warm cozy fleece on the other! It has quickly become our whole family's new favorite throw! (Thanks to lots of rainy, overcast days in a row I took these photos over a three day span which is why they items are in different spots in some of the pictures. Each day that I took more photos I ended up moving things around a tiny bit more -ha!)

And here you can see the other side of the room. We decorated this side of the room to coordinate with our beautiful Angel painting from Deann!

We added some cozy fair isle style stockings which I love!

And then we added these fun gold pineapple bookends

And here is this side of the room with the candles lit:

And here are a couple wider angled shots:

  5. Warm, cozy, inviting and elegant. Love how you always combine modern, timelessness with an elegant touch. I am more into country cottage style, but your appeal gives me so much inspiration! That is why you are a great designer/stylist.

  6. Jennifer - what did you use as a base for your Pom Pom wreath? I love it and want to make one myself.

    1. Hi, Debbie! Jenni just used a styrofoam circle. She may end up doing a tutorial on it, but we aren't sure quite yet.
