Our Christmas House Tour - Holiday Housewalk 2015

It's that time of year again! It's officially Christmas season and time for Jennifer Rizzo's Annual Holiday Housewalk. We are so thrilled to participate again this year. I think this is now our fifth year.

We are stop number five, so most of you are probably here after visiting stop number four.  Kelly from Eclectically Vintage's beautiful home was all decked out for the holidays and looking so beautiful!

I will give more details on these rooms in separate posts because this is already going to be a very long and picture heavy post, but I will try to source some of the seasonal decor here in this post and you can always find very detailed source info for all of the furniture and accessories and all of our paint colors in the "Our Home" page.

First, welcome to our kitchen and family room. We spend by far the most amount of time here in this space each day. We kept it pretty simple by just adding in greenery, some candles, and a few lights.

Even though we don't have a tree in this room I like that you can see the tree that is up in our den from a couple angles in this room.

We made the pom-pom wreath last year and are going to try to do a tutorial for it this month as we get asked quite regularly how we made it. The stockings are from Pottery Barn Kids and the plaid pillows are from Target. The paperwhites are from Savvy Home and Garden and the cute little polka dot bowls are form our collection over at Painted Fox.

And here is our coffee/hot chocolate station. We keep hot cocoa, marshmallows, and mini chocolate chips in the jars on the shelf (and have to refill them weekly!) and flavored syrups next to them, and then we keep coffee pods in the owl jar and other jars. We have mugs that we keep right here and then next to the microwave we have "to go" cups and covers that come in handy too!

We added a cedar garland from Savvy to our chalkboard along with a cute little mitten garland we got last year from Target and then we added some lights to a cedar wreath we got at Savvy. Then we added some flameless candles we found at HomeGoods to our candlesticks.

We love these little creatures Gaston and Ellie from our collection over at Painted Fox. And guess what? Painted Fox is having a Cyber Monday sale on them for today!

And we love adding paperwhites to our Burdick Chocolate mugs.

We found this cute little Christmas horse at HomeGoods.

And now moving on to our dining room. Just like our kitchen and family room we stuck with just some greenery for this room. I may add some more sparkle in next year but I like the simplicity of how this looks this year. We added a boxwood garland from our Painted Fox collection to our chandelier and a boxwood wreath we got from Soft Surroundings last year. Then we added some eucalyptus to the table and this adorable wooden horse we found at HomeGoods.

We got the knit pillow from Joss and Main and the wreath pillow from HomeGoods.

I think my favorite addition to our Christmas decorating is this nativity set we found at Savvy. I'll have some closer up shots of it in another post.

You can find the wreath and milk bottles in the photo above as well as the little tree in the photo below in our collection over at Painted Fox.

And now moving over to our entryway. We added some garland we've had for years and years to the staiway and then brought in these fun skis from Birch Lane.

This scarf is from Joss and Main and I've been living in it!

And here is a little peek into our hall closet.

The bag is from Joss and Main too. They have so many great gift options as well as home decor items.

And here we have our "And His Name shall be called..." sign along with some boxes and ornaments from Target.

And the last space downstairs to share is our den. I think this room has a more traditional and cozy feel to it. The rug is from Joss and Main, the pom pom throw is from Soft Surroundings and the stocking and tree are both from Balsam Hill.

The cozy throw is from HomeGoods and the knit pillows are from Soft Surroundings.

The snowshoes were a gift from my mom last year and from a little antique shop in New Hampshire.

These cute little glittered deer are from Savvy.

The little plane was a gift years ago and I love stacking gifts in it now.

And although we haven't finished decorating our master bedroom or the girls' bedroom yet I thought I would at least share a few pictures of our guest rooms. The sparkly cones are from HomeGoods and the horse is from Joss and Main.

And here is our other guest room. First I just added some simple cream and black touches:

but then changed my mind and went ahead and added lots of of red!

The beautiful red quilt and shams and joy pillow are from Birch Lane. The wrapping paper is from HomeGoods.

This red car was a fun HomeGoods find:

We found this plaid deer head at Target and the boxwood wreath is from our collection at Painted Fox.

We hope you enjoyed your little tour through our house! Please remember you can find detailed source info and all paint color details here on the "our home" page of our blog.

And now it's time to head to Susan from Kindred Vintage's home to see her stunning tour! She has one of my absolute favorite feeds on Instagram - her dining room is my favorite!

Have a wonderful Monday and a very Merry Christmas!!!

    2. Thanks. I contacted them but was hoping to find out who manufactured it (unless Savvy did) as I was hoping to know a few more details on size and returns. I am in the process of designing our dining area and finally found the chandelier I love and need more details before nailing it down. Thanks for your help - your home is an inspiration to me.
