I just wanted to pop in quickly! I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! I am busy working on the tutorial for our dining room cart that I hope to have ready for tomorrow. For today though I just have a few pictures and I also wanted to introduce you to one of our sponsors.

Cousins in Colonial Williamsburg

I hope you all are having a wonderful Sunday! Every year (well, I guess I should say for 2011, 2012, and 2013 and want to go back and make them for the 2009 and 2010 once I have some time) I make a book of photos for ourselves and the grandparents. I try to keep up with editing my pictures throughout the year and then at the end of the year I put the book together (I used to work on it month by month as the year progressed but now I am always behind and start working on it at the end of the year - ha!) I just finished editing some of these pictures from our visit from Lillie and Lola's little "sister-cousin", Everly and even though they were taken almost two months ago figured I would share a few of them today. It rained pretty much every single day during the week they were here visiting so we didn't get many pictures but we did try to take a few during the last afternoon they were here while we were down in Colonial Williamsburg.

 

Evie loved watching the horses as much as Lillie and Lola always do:

Happy Sunday and Happy Father's Day from my ice cream cone loving little munchkins!

I'll be back this week with the IKEA nightstand makeover in our master bedroom, more photos from Jason's house and a new item in our shop that I am quite excited about it.

Yes, they are wearing white dresses - but not to worry they are both washable - the one Lola's wearing we've had for a couple of years now and both girls have worn it over and over and over and we've had all sorts of spills and even played in some mud in it and it washes out just wonderfully and the one Lillie is wearing is from Joyfolie and Lillie has been living in it and it washes great as well. =)

Happy Birthday, Little Lorelei Wren

I just wanted to wish our sweet little Lola Wren a very happy third birthday!

Our farmhouse sink and new faucet are both getting installed tomorrow. I can't wait! Then next week our new counters will be installed.  

The birthday girl! We had a little cake for her after we had our Easter dinner on Sunday.

Back to work...

Happy New Year! I know I haven't blogged much these last couple of weeks but I promise I haven't been asleep on the job! =) I got our new light fixture hung in the entryway last week and took some photos of it yesterday and then plan on taking some pictures of our living room and kitchen later this morning and I am almost ready to photograph our new guest bedroom - I cannot wait to show you that. The painting is finally done, the bed is set up and made, and the curtains are hung, I am just waiting on a few more little touches like deciding on a light fixture and rug and then I will get that photographed. I may try to take a few sneak peek shots today of that too, though. And now we've started painting our master bedroom - I am really really excited with what we finally decided on doing in there (I changed my mind a million times). I've also been working on some Valentine chalk art, and a little Valentine's decorating seeing how my girls think the house is very boring now without the Christmas decorations up. =) So, this week I plan on getting back on track blogging.

For today though, here are a few pictures of my little sleeping beauty. I think it's the only time she's still enough to get a decent, non-blurry shot of her - haha!

Happy Thanksgiving

I just wanted to pop in and wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! Here are a couple pictures from our first attempt at getting our Christmas card picture. It was FREEZING the day we took these, as you can probably tell from the look on Lillie's face. =) We tried again a few days later when it was warmer and got some better shots which I'll share soon.
