A Little Spring in the Family Room and Tagana Rose

Okay, so I know that it actually is a little early for spring especially seeing how it snowed here two days ago, but I am starting to get that itch for warmer weather! Actually it was beautiful here this past weekend and again yesterday. I am hoping it will stay that way. Anyway, earlier this week I finally removed the valentine silhouette pillows that were in these chairs and added these new nest ones. I also added the nest back onto the wreath. (You can see the wreath and it's seasonal changes here in this post). I think these are my favorite pillows I have had in these chairs. I really like how the brown and cream tie in with the rest of the room.

These pillows are now available in our shop!

I also wanted to introduce you to one of our new sponsors, Tagana Rose:

They are currently under construction but are reopening on March 5th.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday!

  1. That's my favorite wreath of yours. I know what you mean about the weather even though it is warm here most of the time. I need a little spring fix too. I pulled out my tulips today and I was eyeing my spring blue eggs. I think the pillows look great in those chairs. Donna

  3. What a beautiful, neutral, slight and classy and gentle "ease" into spring. My entire home is fairly neutral as well and I LOVE the way you did this. Love love love it.

I keep resisting getting out the huge Tupperware containers I have with my spring stuff...........but it is getting more difficult by the day, haha.

    Lovely post.

  7. I can't shop like this...I have too much anxiety! It's like trying to get tickets to your favorite concert and you are sitting at your computer one minute to 10am so when Ticketmaster opens you can at least get tickets in the nosebleed section but then Ticketmaster messes up and you loose out. I don't understand how people get these so fast--I'm online all day long! LOL

    1. Thanks so much! The walls were actually painted this color when we moved here but it is very similar to Cream Fleece by Benjamin Moore. You can see the rest of our paint colors here: http://dearlillieblog.blogspot.com/p/our-house.html

    1. Hi Catherine - Here is the link to the blog post that Jenni did right after she made the wreath last year (http://dearlillieblog.blogspot.com/2011/04/easterspring-wreath-and-he-has-risen.html). The post also contains links to two tutorials from other blogs that she used to help make hers.
