Eloise Montgomery

On April 3rd we welcomed our newest little niece into the world, Eloise "Lucie" Montgomery. We took these pictures a few days after she arrived but are a little late in posting them here. It's hard to believe she's already grown and is now a month old! We love her so much and are so excited for Jamie, Josh and Evie. Isn't she the most beautiful little thing?

Here she is with her beautiful big sister, Everly Penniman!

Source List:

Dollhouse - Antique Shop
Basket - Consignment Shop
Pom Pom Blanket in Basket - Ballard Designs (is really a quilt we pulled of the bed)
Rug - Ballard Designs (I think?)
Everly's Dress and hair clip - Joyfolie
Eloise's Bonnet - knit by her grandmother
Eloise's Silk Flower Headband - made by Jamie
Eloise's Felt Flower Headband - Etsy a couple of years ago - not sure of shop's name
Eloise's Knit Hat with Ears and Bow  - knit by our sister,  Dana

I hope you all have a fabulous Tuesday!

Baby Everly's Got Some News

A few weeks ago we shared a few photos of Lillie and Lola with their cousin Evie. In those photos was a symbolic little baby carriage.

Evie is going to be a big sister! And Lillie and Lola have a new little cousin on the way! They are so excited!

Jon's sister is also due with another little girl in just a few weeks. We can't wait! That will make the 7 babies born to mine and Jon's siblings so far all girls! My older sister has two girls, we have two girls, and Jon's sister will have two girls. It will be fun to see if this new baby of Jamie and Josh's continues the trend of sisters or if a boy finally makes his entrance. Ha!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

A Few More Pictures of Everly Penniman

The last week or so I have spent very little time on my computer so I am quite behind on getting my photos all loaded onto my computer and sized for the blog. I have a few things to show you from Jamie and Josh's house, a couple of things from our house, two new chalkboards, a new pillow, some new greeting cards and tags and some "during" shots from "Jason's house". I'm hoping tonight to start getting caught up on my computer but we shall see. =) In the meantime I thought I would share the last few photos I took of baby Everly from way back in the early March when she was just a week old. As I mentioned in the other post with her photos we never got to take the photos we had planned on that first week because Lillie, Lola and I were all so sick, but I am happy that we were able to at least get some, even if they weren't what we had planned. Especially seeing how this trip up to NH I haven't taken any!

A Few Shots of Baby Everly

As a mentioned a little while back, even though the girls and I raced up to NH as soon as we heard Jamie was in labor, except for a handful of shots that first afternoon in the hospital, I only ended up getting to take some photos of little baby Everly one afternoon when she was a week old. We had planned on taking pictures that whole first week and even had a couple of cute props ready, but thanks to the plague that befell poor Lola all those plans went out the window and we settled for some simple shots. Here are a few of the ones I've edited so far. I've got a couple more I'm working on with her in an adorable little knit bonnet that I'll share once I edit those. Oh how I miss her cute little cheeks and can't wait to get to properly hold and snuggle her next time we visit and I don't have to worry about all the germs I might be passing to her from my offspring. =)

I, of course, love Jamie dearly, but I kind of hate her too - you can't tell in the photo above, but she was wearing her regular jeans the day I took these - and Evie was just a week old! Ugh!

Welcome, Baby Everly!

I am excited to introduce to you the newest member of our family - Jamie and Josh's daughter, Everly ("Evie") Penniman Druke! I will share some more photos of her soon, but thought I would at least show you a couple that I took of her at the hospital during the tiny window of time I got to see her before Lola got sick and we got stuck quarantined. =)  I was finally able to take a few more of her the other day at Jamie and Josh's house that I will share once I get them edited, but for now here are just a couple of shots from in the hospital shortly after she arrived. I love her to pieces and am so excited to have another beautiful niece!

Here she is gripping Josh's finger.

I love seeing their matching hospital bands.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I'll be back tomorrow!

Jamie's Nursery Rhyme Themed Baby Shower Part 2

Here is the other table setup we did for Jamie's shower. (You can see the first table setup in our last blog post here and if you scroll to the bottom of this post you can see how they both looked together in the room.) The focal point for this table was the chalkboard. Jamie's husband, Josh, built this one for me the same way I built the one in our dining room. You can see the tutorial for it here. This time I painted it in Ashley Gray instead of staining it and then had some fun adding part of a nursery rhyme to it.

Here is the left side of the table:

We dipped pretzels into white chocolate that we tinted to a grayish purple color and added some white sprinkles and for the cream cheese frosted cupcakes we added some Little Bo Peep silhouettes (we will be selling those in our shop in the very near future). On the cupcakes on the other side of the cake we added little lamb silhouettes.

And here is the right side of the table:

In case you hadn't noticed yet, =) I LOVE the striped straws by the TomKat Studio. I have purchased them now in brown, pink, gray and light purple.  I got the little plant holder this summer in Peterborough, NH at a store called Collections at Laurel and Grove and for the party is made a great little holder for the plastic spoons and forks as well as white chocolate covered pretzels, straws and later for pens for people to use when filling out some of the cards we had laid around (I'll post more about that in a minute).

We got all of the flowers from a shop called Country Fresh Flowers and Goods. They were all gorgeous!

Along with the Storytime and Baby Druke Cards (the downloadable ones say Baby Guesses) we also had a Wishes for Baby card. We are now selling these as printables in a set of three. Along with lavender we are also offering them in blue, pink and brown!

Our pages we used for the banner and also the "Hickory dickory dock..." printout are now available to download and print as well! You can find all of the detailed photos of this table in our last post.

And here are a few pictures from the actual shower (like everyone in our family, Jamie gets embarrassed with everyone just watching her so she asked Lillie, Lola and Abby to help her open her gifts):

 Have a wonderful Tuesday!
