As I mentioned in my last post I am going to be starting on my Christmas decorating next week so I have started looking through my photos from last December for a little inspiration. I helped my sister, Jamie decorate her home and I like how that turned out better than our house did last year. We used pretty much all natural elements and kept it really simple.
Here is Jamie and Josh's dining room:
Here is their entryway:
And their Family Room:
And lastly their breakfast nook:
And here are a few shots from our home last Christmas:
Lillie's Room:
Our room:
We will be offering two versions of burlap stockings similar to the ones shown on our mantel from last year as well as one similar to the soft fleece one my mom made for Lillie's room. It will still probably be a couple of weeks before the burlap ones are done but the fleece ones will be available next week!
In the meantime we have two new Christmas items available today:
First we have these Drummer Boy Coaster sets:
And we also have a new script pillow.
These ones are printed extra large for a bold, graphic look.
I hope you all have a wonderful Friday!
So pretty, fresh and inviting! Love the white and natural greens...simple and sophisticated! :)

ReplyDeleteShandra - The first few pictures are of my sister jamie's home. The wall color in her family room is Sparrow by Benjamin Moore. The other pictures are from my daughter's bedroom and the color is London Fog by Benjamin Moore
Anonymous - We will be selling the stockings, and we hope to have them available by Thanksgiving!
Love your blog! Both homes were decorated beautifully. Would like to know where your sister found the Mansard style picture frame found in her entryway?
ReplyDeleteYour sister's house... your house... all just the perfect eye candy!!! I love the little touches like the stocking on a knob with fresh greens tucked in. Such a small thing, but makes such an impact! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited that you will be offering the stockings! I have been hoping that you might! I will keep watching for them! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteEvery photo and detail is stunning! I only wished you lived closer as I would love for you to help me with my house. I am excited you will be selling your stockings! They are beautiful....I'll be watching for them in your shop! Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous ideas! Thanks for sharing all the inspiration! Do you happen to know where your sister got that to-die-for chandelier above her dining table? It looks like it is mostly wooden. I have been searching for one like that. Thanks for you help.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - She found it at White Home Collection in Wilton, New Hampshire. Unfortunately, I've been looking for a similar frame myself since she found that one, and haven't had any luck yet :(
Karen - Its from Ballard Designs. I'm pretty sure they still carry it.
Looks so beautiful! Do you still have the two twin beds in Lillie's room? If so, how are you liking that?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hollie! That photo was taken last Christmas. The bed was a thrift store find and was not very stable so we ended up getting rid of it and moved those mattresses into Lola's room for a guest bed and moved our twin guest bed into Lillie's room. We did it last last February, I think? The twin beds have been in there ever since and have worked wonderfully! Whenever we have guests they often sleep in the other bed and Lillie feels like she is having a sleepover. Of course then she hates it when they leave and she has to go back to sleeping in there by herself. =)
ReplyDeleteYour photos always take my breath away. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful. I'm thrilled to hear that you're about to do your Christmas decorating for this year, because I know there will be so much great inspiration here!
Hope you and your family are doing well. Take care!
Oh, it's all so gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteMiss Mustard Seed
Wow the Christmas decorations at your sisters are gorgeous !!!
ReplyDeleteCan"t wait to see how you decorate your house this year !!!
Love the "flowered" wreath! Did you purchase this somewhere, and if so where? Your home and your sisters home is beautiful! First time visiting and will definitely be back!
ReplyDeleteJuanita
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteJuanita - My sister and I both have a set of those wreaths. They are actually from Target. I got mine on sale a few years ago, and Jamie got hers more recently but they weren't on sale. So I'm not really sure if all Targets carry them or not.
Is that fresh garland? If so, is it from a floral shop or something? Amazing taste! So glad I stumbled across your blog!
ReplyDeleteYour dresser turned out fabulous! I don't even know where to start! You are so talented to start and ended it with great work, so glad I stumbled across your blog!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
ReplyDeleteMelanie - Its actually from Lowes and Home Depot, and its surprisingly inexpensive!
Love your blog!! I check it out often. You are very inspiring. I especily like the jingle bell stocking.

ReplyDeleteLove the light in your sister's breakfast nook! Do you know where they purchased it? We have been looking for something similar for a while now. Beautiful job designing.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteAndrew - I checked with my sister, and she thinks they got it from Progress Lighting, but she wasn't positive.
Where can a get a blue clock as yours in your bedroom??
