Today is my parent's anniversary! Last year they were down here visiting us on their 30th anniversary while we waited on Lola to arrive - she gave us a false alarm that sent them and my sister Jamie on their way a little earlier than needed. I am pretty sure I neglected to give them anything seeing how I was otherwise occupied. =) This year, though, I wanted to make them something for the new house they are building.
Have you ever wondered where Lillie and Lola are when I am taking pics? Generally just outside the shot. I often end up cropping little heads or arms out. =)
Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad! I love you!

This is a wonderful gift for your parents' new home; having moved 6 months ago to our new, downsized home, I know a just-right housewarming gift is so appreciated to make a house feel like a home. The verse is well-chosen!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty sign and it will make the perfect gift;)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day~Cheryl
This is so beautiful! What a special gift. I really really want one! I hope you decide to sell them!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer! Yes, we do plan on selling them. Hopefully in a few weeks!
DeleteJen,
ReplyDeleteThat sign is SUCH a perfect gift for your parents. So awesome.
And yes, I had always wondered about the girls.....lol would LOVE to see outtake shots of little bits of them in various shots one day, it would be a really cute post that one day they would love to see, too. I think it would make your readers laugh and enjoy that "not everything" is always so perfect, haha.
Hugs.
LOVE this sign! Perfect for a housewarming gift. Reminds me of the piece you had in your family room above the litte table. I am hoping you decide to sell these.
ReplyDeleteThanks! We do plan on selling them. Hopefully in a few weeks!
DeleteWhat color is the bench below the sign? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Shannon - Jenni's bench is Ashley Gray by Benjamin Moore.

ReplyDeleteLove it! I also am hoping you decide to sell these!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the sign - the message - everything!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sign! I just figured you took pictures during nap time..lol. But now that I see your sweet girls in there I definitely can relate!
ReplyDeleteMegan
I do actually take quite a few of the pictures during Lola's nap time - when it is of a whole room. If it's just a little section then I can often sneak it in while they are playing. =)
DeleteHow beautiful is that last picture with both of your girls! You are one lucky mama!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful sign and a beautiful gift. Very meaningful. I bet your parents will treasure it. How wonderful that they are married 30 years! I always enjoy seeing photos of your sweet girls.
ReplyDeleteSo perfect! And you did give them a present last year! That sweet baby girl, Lola! Beautiful shot of them!
ReplyDeleteJennifer what a lovely anniversary gift for your folks to hang in their new home. I love it!
ReplyDeleteYou have the most beautiful children. I always thought you took all your lovely pics when they were napping. You're good if you can take good pics with them just underfoot. : )
Happy Anniversary to your folks.
Such a nice sign for their new house. The last picture of your beautiful girls is precious.
ReplyDeleteOh, now THAT is awesome!
ReplyDeleteBon Weekend!

Wow - I LOVE that sign! Thanks for sharing and happy anniversary to your parents!
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing it is to celebrate your parents' anniversary. Congratulations. The sign is a lovely, perfect present; and the girls are as adorable as ever. I also have to crop out little ones constantly, but food shots are the worst- there are always sweet little chubby fingers sneaking their way into the frame. :) Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteI love this sign! Any chance that you are going to start selling it? Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Erin! We do plan on selling them. Hopefully in a few weeks!
DeleteDid you make that sign?? It's wonderful! And those photos of the the girls are fabulous...!
ReplyDeleteCindy
Would love to see a tutorial on that sign!! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteJulie
Beautiful sign! I love the weathered look and the hooks, making it very utilitarian at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI love the sign, but didn't see it for sale. Have you decided to sell them yet!?
ReplyDeleteHi - We did sell a different version of the sign this summer but it didn't do very well so we probably won't be making this one.
