Last week I decided to paint this little side table. Ever since I painted the coffee table this one has been driving me crazy. I normally don't like "matchy matchy" but I didn't want to spend any money so I just used the leftover Revere Pewter (by Benjamin Moore) from the coffee table. You can see it here before and how it stood out once I had stripped and painted the coffee table:
Also I wanted to let you know we have a new pillow in the shop today:
And our Elizabeth Placemats are back in stock again!
Great table. It looks wonderful painted. Beautiful room. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteit looks great that color....not totally matchy...the coffee table top is wood right? It makes the mirror stand out much more!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Lorraine
Love how that turned out! Your flowers are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe table looks fresh and airy. Not to matchy matchy. Looking forward to the party pics.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday! Have a beautiful week.
Love the new look and that is a favorite color of mine. Have it on the walls of the master bath and a guest room.
ReplyDeletelove how it turned out! I have a load of furniture painting to do, but no time to do it, with a new baby...lets hope for lots of long naps!
ReplyDeleteI really do like it painted! Is that a faux rosewood wreath from Smith and Hawken? It looks beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt is! I got it at Target a few years ago.
DeleteI think the different shape and top color totally keep it from being matchy matchy. I love it. And I love that fresh color on the fleurs pillows. It feels like spring :)
ReplyDeleteWow, this is not a table style I would normally like, but the pewter paint made it beautiful! Well, that and the pretty vignette you created on top. We'll be making a move soon and will need some new furniture on a very low budget; you are inspiring me -- our home can still be beautiful!

Looks really pretty - love the color! Your new pillow is so fresh and happy too. Great color choice!
ReplyDeleteThe table looks great! I've been wanting to paint my dining room table for a while now so you've given me a push to do it!
ReplyDeleteLove it painted much better! In looking at the pictures, have you considered moving the two chairs and table or zebra ottoman directly across from the sofa in the open rug area and putting the french arm chair where the 2 chairs are currently? Just a thought? Love your home and your style and especially the gorgeous parties you throw together with such creativity. Thanks for all the inspiration you provide :)
ReplyDeleteOur TV is on that wall directly across from the sofa so I am pretty sure my husband would not appreciate having his back to the TV if I put the two chairs, table and ottoman in front of the TV facing the sofa. =) If we didn't have a TV there, though, that would be a great idea.
DeleteAll of those photos are just lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe table looks beautiful..As does your room..It turned out so nice..Great job..
