Jamie's Dining Room and a New Table Runner

I thought I would show you a few pictures of Jamie and Josh's dining room decorated for spring. They've made a couple of changes to it since I last showed it here on the blog decorated for Christmas. They painted the walls a slightly lighter color, Cotswald AF-150, by Benjamin Moore and Josh made a new farmhouse style tabletop, which I LOVE! They also just added some new curtains two days ago but I took these photos two weeks ago when I was up in NH so the new curtains are not in these pictures.

On the table is our newest addition to our shop, the Elizabeth Table Runner, which is now available!

I hope you all have a beautiful Wednesday!

  5. Okay, today's job: Finding a way to recreate those little nests on the plates. SO CUTE! The whole room is gorgeous. Love the paint color. Maybe even more so based on it being named "Cotswald." :) Lovely space, lovely runner, just all around lovely.

  6. Jamie's dining room looks beautiful, Jenni! I know you were so glad to get to spend some time in NH with her and the rest of your family. But it sounds as if you'll need to make a trip back North very soon and take photos of her new curtains. :)

I was so inspired by the photos from Lola's birthday party that I've already done my own DIY version of one of the accessories--I made a couple of birdhouses with moss-covered roofs. I just bought $1.00 birdhouses, spray-painted them with Heirloom White, glued moss onto the roof, and trimmed. They're small but they're so cute, and I used them in a tabletop vignette on my screened porch. I don't like to use expensive accessories on the porches because I never know when a boy or a dog or the wind might knock something over--I don't want to have to be guarding precious possessions in a space that's designed for relaxing.

Of course I gave you credit for my inspiration; thank you so much!

    1. Thanks! It's just some floral foam stuffed into the vase and spanish moss and green moss stuffed in around it and then we poked the branches into the floral foam and added in some baby's breath.

    1. Hi - Jamie's light fixture is from Ballard Designs and she painted the curtains herself (she got them from IKEA).

    1. Hey Carrie! I couldn't find your e-mail to e-mail you back so I will FB you, but Revere Pewter and London Fog are two of my favorite grays. I also like Valley Forge Tan (which is more of a gray than a tan) and gray owl (although that goes a bit greenish blue).
