Here's a little peek at the powder room:
Here is what is has looked like until just this past week:
I can't wait to show you the difference in there!
And here is a little peek at the entryway (and I think this is going to be the clock's final resting place after being moved from room to room):
Here's a reminder of what our entryway looked like when we moved in:
I also wanted to introduce another one of our new sponsors, Anna See:
Anna See carries items like beautiful all natural, handmade soaps:
and beautiful prints of her original artwork including this lovely one of Boston:
Be sure to check out this talented artist's shop and blog!
I'll be back tomorrow to share all the details of the progress we've made so far in the entryway.
Have a blessed week!
I am excited to see everything finished! Can't wait!!
ReplyDeleteHope your Sunday was happy. :)
xoxo.
I know the powder room is going to be quite a transformation especially after seeing that floral wallpaper.
ReplyDeleteLove the peeks! It's looks beautiful and I think that is the perfect spot for your clock.
ReplyDeleteJennifer,,
ReplyDeleteIn 1988 my husband and I bought our first house in Charlotte, N.C. The wall paper on your powder room is what we picked for our kitchen! It is time for an update! Can"t wait to see the progress.
That's too funny!
DeleteCan't wait to see the transformation in the powder room. We are lucky enough to have that same wallpaper grace our laundry room ;). Can’t wait for that redo!! Have a wonderful week!! Emily
ReplyDeleteI cant wait to see the transformation, especially in the powder room!...xv

Love the change. The clock looks perfect there. Is this gray owl and simply white in the foyer? Is this the same as the dining room? Looks so bright and pretty. Can't wait to see the powder room!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It is actually Moonshine.
DeleteCan not wait to see the rest Jennifer. I am in love with your Mora clock!
ReplyDeleteEven though I never post any comments, I've been reading your blog for a few years now, and I love how you can make every space so beautiful! I like your style very much, and (even though we don't know each other) when I'm stuck on one of my projects, I amuse myself with a thought: what would Jennifer do? :)
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, I came here to thank you for mentioning the sale at rugsusa.com a couple of posts ago. I have been looking for a rug that would fit my living room and my budget, and it happened thanks to you.
Oh I am so glad Ana! We have been really pleased with both of our purchases from their (the runners for the stairs and our living room rug) and will probably purchase from them again when we start looking for rugs for our bedrooms upstairs! They have such a great selection and the best prices!

ReplyDeleteOh, I so can't wait to see the transformation of everything! I know that the powder room is going to look so much more relaxed. That other wallpaper was such a busy print for such a small area. And like previous comments I too think that this spot for the clock is the perfect spot!! And I wanted to ask you something, Do you decide on all the decorating of colors. styles etc... of your home? Or is it kind of like a give and take situation? Or does Hubby just pretty much let you have at it and trust all of your taste for everything? Just wondering, as I do most of the figuring out everything in our home. lol!! including trying to get my say out in the garage. lol! I want it to always look neat and organized and have some touches of antiques. I used an old big seed bin for our recycling containers. And I am just getting ready to purchase a old card catalog from a library for him to use for all his little different screws, nails, and such. Each drawer will be labeled according to what is in it. But he will tell you I gave him the garage as his space and now I taking it back. lol!! Well take care, follower in Md. Shawn
ReplyDeleteI am pretty lucky - he pretty much lets me make all the design decisions. He does occasionally request things (like he really wanted a sectional in the family room) and when he does I really try to make whatever it is he is asking about work. I do run most of my color choices by him just to make sure he doesn't dislike anything. Little purchases I don't bother him with (which he appreciates) but when it comes to anything big like rugs or furniture pieces I always make sure he is on board (even if it isn't necessarily something he would pick out I make sure he is fine with it). He's always been really great about it and is supportive, although he does cringe every once and a while when I show him something that isn't really necessary. =)
DeleteYour work is awesome & inspiring!!!
ReplyDeleteJennifer Norrell
I wish I had your energy! Everything is coming together beautifully. Gorgeous transformation!
ReplyDeleteI'm having to laugh, Jennifer, because 25 years ago we lived in a home very similar to yours. and to be honest what I chose to update it with is so similar to the things you're now redoing. From the oriental stair runner to the bathroom wallpaper, which I used something close in our dining room. So funny how decor changes. I do have to confess I still love the light fixture in the entry. It's such a classic design. OK, my age is showing...your home is amazing and you've done an incredible job yourself on so many wonderful updates!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how what's in style is always changing. You know in a few more years we'll probably be going back to all that stuff again and I'll be wondering why I changed it all. =)
DeleteLooks like it's going to be spectacular! LOVE that clock and I'm not normally a fan of big clocks. Also, thanks for the link to Anna's site -- I am purchasing her Boston print and probably some of the soaps for Christmas gifts.
ReplyDeleteI just finished hanging the same wallpaper in our bath. I am stuck on a window treatment that will work with it. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteHave you thought about a roman shade?
DeleteIs Moonshine a Benjamin Moore color?
ReplyDeleteYes it is.
