Back in December, thanks to
Delta, I had the opportunity to travel down to Florida and see this year's gorgeous
HGTV Dream Home. We also had the opportunity to pick one of their amazing
Touch 2O faucets for ourself. There were quite a few beautiful ones to choose from, but because of the style faucet we currently have there was no way we could replace ours without leaving extra holes in our marble, which of course wouldn't be very pretty. My girls were rather disappointed, as they think this faucet is "magic" and are quite enthralled with it. They keep asking if we can please switch ours to a "magic faucet" like this one - especially now that they do lots of dishes. Ha!
Because we couldn't use it in our kitchen we thought we would ask our sweet friends, Brooke and Rob, if they were interested. They recently did a complete remodel of their kitchen (actually of their whole house) and it turned out absolutely AMAZING!!! They chose this beautiful
Cassidy model, and Rob was able to install it in about an hour. I love how it's such a classic style, yet also feels so updated and modern too. And of course, the technology is so cool!
Brooke and Rob pretty much made over every square inch of their house. At some point I'll have to share more of their rooms - the transformation in all of the spaces is incredible. They did most of the work in their house themselves, although they did have help when they got to their kitchen as they were expecting their first baby and she was about to make her debut around the time they were working on the kitchen.
They opened up their kitchen and dining room to make one open space and swapped around the layout to make it more functional and so that they could get rid of that wall. It immediately makes the space feel so much larger and of course lighter and brighter!
Are you ready for some before and afters? Before and after shots are always my favorite! And these ones do not disappoint:
Here's a closeup of the Cassidy™ Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Touch2O Technology:
We added some fun little accessories like this wooden tray, cake stand and kitchen towel from HomeGoods.
I absolutely love the color they painted their front door! It's such a perfect blue! And what a difference from the before shots.
I love all of the H's that Brooke found and the bench that Rob built for their entryway.
They are still on the hunt for the perfect stools for along the bar area of the kitchen counter. I can't wait to see what they find!
And here's their absolutely adorable little girl, Sienna!
