Living by candlelight...
This is the tree in our back yard.
Fortunately it didn't hit the house, and that's really all that happened here for damage. Its way worse in the area of New England that we are from. We are keeping them and everyone else affected by the storm in our prayers. This is a picture of my brother-in-law and his family's building supply store.

Hope you all stayed safe, and have a wonderful Monday! Hopefully we'll be back later today with the giveaway.
p.s. As long as we do regain power today or tomorrow, we will open as planned on Thursday, although we probably won't have quite as much inventory in stock as we had planned.
Glad to see you and yours weathered the storm well. Prayers for those that weren't so fortunate.
ReplyDeleteIm so glad to hear you are all ok! Hopefully your power will be on soon!! Be safe~ xo Rachel :)

Hope your power is restored soon. We drove down to W&M and brought home our daughter and six other students until the campus reopens. Just looked at pictures on the W & M site. So sad to see so many beautiful trees toppled. Keeping all those affected in our prayers. ~ Julie

I'm glad to here your all safe Jennifer! I hope your brother-in-law didn't lose to may supplies. We had a lot of flooding in our area too. Martina
ReplyDeleteI have been watching the news of all of the flooding and damage out East and you are all in my prayers. Being without power isn't fun, I know! Here in Montana, we have wildfires, and there is a 700 acre grassfire burning just a couple of miles north of us that has covered our small town with smoke and soot. I am praying that no one who lives out there has to evacuate.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are all okay and hoping things get back to normal soon for you!
