Lola's Room for Fall and Winner of the Wreath

Lola's room was the easiest to add some autumn touches too. The color scheme of her room makes it simple to add pretty much any seasonal elements to it without worrying about things clashing. For her room I used the wheat wreath by Meagan, some white pumpkins, fresh hydrangeas, some feathers, a tall bundle of branches and our give thanks pillow.

Here's the little swing from her birthday party:

On the other side of her room I just added a wreath I got at Pier 1 several years ago and a faux white pumpkin on top and a real one on the shelf (the ones on the dresser are both real).

Michelle was so sweet and sent us this miniature carriage!

It's almost identical to the one I got Lillie at an antique mall several years ago and have shown here on the blog several times including this photo of Lillie:

And in Jamie and Josh's pregnancy announcement  photos:

After I was done taking my photos I realized it was a little too busy looking so I removed one of the pumpkins and I do think it looks better.  I wasn't about to retake all the photos, though! Haha!

We had planned on listing some stockings tonight but I haven't finished editing the photos. Hopefully we will have them ready to go at some point tomorrow.

Also, we wanted to congratulate Pam on being the winner of our Custom Wreaths by Meagan Giveaway:
Meagan will be in touch with you to finalize the details!

I hope you all are enjoying October so far!

  6. I just love Lola's and Lillie's rooms. They are so pretty and feminine, but too frilly. Love the white pumpkins--they are my favorites. Your home and your decorating style is so restful yet so pretty--but not over the top so a husband wouldn't feel comfortable. I want to go lighter in our new home after so many years of jewel tones. Your soothing pallet is inspiration...

  7. Jennifer, your taste is lovely and I think your truest gift is as a stylist. The little touches you bring together in your vignettes are always what make the room, and what make your style so unique.

Your blog is my favorite - as always!

  16. Hi, Also, I would be so honored if you would check out my very second blog post at truthgraceandlife.blogspot.com. I know with two little ones and a business to run time would be a really scarce commodity for you but if you do have a moment to go there I would appreciate it very much since I admire your decorating style and work ethic so so much.

    1. I got it at a consignment shop years ago. It was somewhere in SC but I don't even remember where exactly. I think it was like $5 or $10, though! Too good a deal to pass up! =)

  23. Hi Jennifer- Your style/ decor is amazing. I love the inspiration you also give to your readers.
I am dying to know where you got/ brand of dresser that is in your daughters room! I have been trying to find a dresser like that for my daughter, Elle's room. She will be 2 in Dec and shortly after we are hoping to make her room a big girl room and so forth. I also love the white frames on the wall. Love all the keepsake touches.

    1. Thank you! The dresser was from Target's Shabby Chic line about four years ago. I don't think they carry it anymore, though. =(
