Happy February!


Just popping in to wish you a happy weekend and a happy February! You can find our free February download here (along with all of our other free downloads). I think the girls and I better start getting to work on some Valentine's projects around here.

  5. Lillie is so beautiful. What focus,area mode, and metering mode did you use to take these photos? I also have a Nikon D5100 and am having a hard time having my objects eyes being so clear, focused and crisp like in your photos. By the way, love your blog. Thank you for being so inspiring.

  7. Lillie is gorgeous. What focus, AF area and metering mode did you use to take these photos? I also have a Nikon camera and am having a hard time focusing on the eyes, to make them sharp, clear and focused. By the way, love your blog. Thank you for being so inspiring.

    1. Thanks. I was using my 85mm lens and my F spot was at 3.2, and shutter speed at 1/500. Not sure what my ISO was for this one. I normally prefer to have my F stop even lower but I was taking some house photos and just quickly swung my camera over to Lillie because she was sitting there so sweetly and didn't change any of my settings. =)
