Peonies in the Sink

God Bless America,
Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home.

I hope you all have a lovely Memorial Day Weekend! I took this picture several nights ago after I had picked a bunch of peonies from our yard. I let them soak in the sink while we got the girls in bed and then once they were down I had fun putting them in several different vases throughout the house. The following day was able to photograph the kitchen and I am almost done editing those photos and will share them this coming week.

  1. So pretty! Enjoy your weekend.

  2. Beautiful Jennifer. I love our peonies as well. That is a great photo! Have a wonderful weekend.

  3. Beautiful!
I just picked Lily of the Valley in the forest behind our house in Sweden.
How blessed we are to have such abundance and beauty in our back yards and forests.
    Kind regards,
Anneli in Sweden (soon in San Diego)

  10. I love peonies. I want to grow some. Where can you get them? Are the hard to grow?

    1. Hi! Any gardening center should have them. I know our Lowe's carried them earlier this year.
