I'm a new follower and have really enjoyed your before and after photos. Such a lovely home you have. Happy 2015
ReplyDeleteExcellent post! You have done such an amazing job transforming your home. Lovely! Regarding Jason's dining room ceiling ... Did you all install a wood ceiling? If so ... Is there a post with details? How wide are the planks? I am considering installing wood to all of my ceilings.
ReplyDeleteThanks! His dining room ceiling was that way when he moved in (I believe it used to be a porch many years ago). I'm not sure how wide the boards are, but I would guess between 3"-4".
DeleteYour home is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy 2015!
Liebe Grüße

Jenni, what made you go from white walls to grey walls (townhouse vs this new house)?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm trying to redo my master bedroom and can't decide if I like the dark grey walls like you hd in your town home, or lighter ones like you have in this new home? What made you go lighter in your master? Is it easier to decorate?
Thanks!
Hi! Our new house gets very little natural light and the ceilings are lower, so I hoped the lighter colors would help make it feel less dark and dreary and help makes things look a bit more airy. Now that the house has been mostly made over I'm actually adding a few more dark colors in. I'll be painting our dining room Kendall Charcoal next week actually!
DeleteFabulous job! Wow! The make over of my dreams! I have really enjoyed reading your posts.
ReplyDeleteWill be coming back again. Thank you!
Hugs Marg.
