Tonight I thought I would show you a little peek into our kitchen. We are close to being done with it so I will hopefully be showing you the whole kitchen soon, but for now I want to at least show you one wall that we have finished (and in the last photo you can see a little more of the kitchen). I haven't styled the shelves yet - about two minutes after I had gotten them up I just grabbed stuff around the kitchen and put things up there, so I will probably change out what's on them once I have a chance.
The clock was a Joss and Main purchase several months ago during one of the events we curated for them.
Everything on the top shelf is from White Home Market in New Hampshire except the serving tray which was a gift from my mother-in-law. The vase on the bottom shelf is from IKEA, the tulips are from Savvy, the chalkboard art can be purchased here, the frame is from Target and the canisters were wedding gifts from Williams-Sonoma.
You can see a little more of the kitchen in this shot. I am only halfway done with the island - I've stripped the top but still need to sand it down and restain it as well give the bottom part a fresh coat of paint.
Also we have now restocked our 12 by 20 give thanks pillow covers!
everything's looking so pretty, jennifer. love your paint colors!
ReplyDeleteSimply: Beautiful. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rose!
DeleteLove the clock! The beams add a wonderful architectural element and great contrast to your paint colors. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Are you headed to Williamsburg any time soon?
DeleteLooks gorgeous already! Did you paint the cabinets? If so, what color? I'm looking for a good white for our kitchen cabinets.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, London Fog.
DeleteJust lovely!
ReplyDeleteyou are making so much progress in such a short time, it shames the rest of us! Can't wait to see it finished.
ReplyDeleteWe've been busy. There's still so much left to though...I think I will be painting trim for the next 30 years! =)
DeleteLOVE IT!! Can't wait to see the full kitchen reveal!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Martina!
DeleteBeautiful, as usual! I have been stalking your blog and am loving your updates!! Can't wait to see the full kitchen. I'm also seeing a peek of the vent hood too and LOVE it. I want to do pretty much the same thing in our kitchen when we renovate. Did you do that yourself? I would love a tutorial! Also, how big is your island? My husband and I are arguing over whether or not we have room for one--I think a roll-away one like this would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Katy! I will include more details when we do our kitchen reveal post but no, I didn't do it myself. I was hoping to but realized I was NOT even close to capable of those kinds of carpentry skills - haha! The island is tiny - it was just a tiny side table I added wheels to for the reason you mentioned - there really wasn't room for an island but I wanted one and my husband wasn't sure about it so the roll-away option was a nice compromise. I will be doing a full post on that once I finish it.
DeleteOh awesome! A side table? Wow! I'm so excited to hear more about both. You are so talented. Thanks for the reply!
DeleteVery nicely styled! Great blog!
ReplyDeleteI'm still drooling over those beams in your kitchen! Everything is just gorgeous. Love your paint choice - darker trim than walls. I was wanting to go that direction in our new house, but chickened out. Now I'm kicking myself :)
ReplyDeleteIt really is looking beautiful - I too adore your paint colors and overall style!

Can't wait to see everything!! I love the seek peak, but now you'll have me wondering about little things I spy (like the kitchen island)
ReplyDeleteYour touches are magical! I enjoy all the updates. Thank you for sharing. Will you be adding any new pillow designs for the holidays? As you know I am a huge Dear Lillie fan! I display all my pillows and gorgeous chalkboard designs proudly!
ReplyDeleteThank you! We are hoping to! I have been working on chalkboards right now for the fall and winter but haven't started yet on pillows - I am pretty sure though I will be able to get to at least one or two new ones though - or at least that's my plan - haha!
Deletelove it! can't wait to see the rest of the house. where are the shelves from?
ReplyDeleteThanks! They are from Target.

ReplyDeleteIt all looks so crispa and clean with a touch of rugged.
ReplyDeleteWow, Jenni - it sure is fun seeing everything come together! This house definitely seems to have a different "vibe" than the townhouse so I am enjoying your process of creating a new nest for your family!!
ReplyDeleteI love projects - if I lived closer I'd happily help you paint!: )

ReplyDeleteThank you, Donna! They were already painted white in this room when we moved in so I don't have any idea what color white it is =(
